Our Process

STEP 1

Initial Consult

During our initial meeting, our senior engineer will be present to assess your requirements. We have an in-depth discussion to consider:

LOAD – what exactly do you need to haul?

TRANSIT – how long and how often will you be in transit?

SPECS – what are the exact measurements of your load; what is the weight; are there any variables required for flexibility?

ROUTE – What route will you be travelling with your trailer? Are there any height and weight restrictions that we need to consider?

TERRAIN – Does your trailer need to enter a work site or tough terrain?

ATMOSPHERE – Will your trailer be spending a lot of time outdoors, near any chemicals or salt water; in hot or cold temperatures?

EXTRAS – Do you have any other special add-ons such as gas, electricity or plumbing?

STEP 2

Preliminary Sketches

After asking all the right questions, our engineering team considers a number of potential options for your needs. We present some preliminary sketches of what the trailer design could look like and discuss potential materials, construction and finishes.

STEP 3

Trailer Design

Upon agreement, our engineering team works on developing the blue prints for your custom trailer design. Allow a couple of weeks back and forth for tweaks and adjustments until the final design is drawn up.

STEP 4

Production

Upon sign off on the trailer design and once we agree on the production timeline, we begin building your custom trailer, which generally takes between 4 to 6 weeks depending on the specifications.

STEP 5

Workshop Visit

We will organise a time for you to visit our workshop during the construction of your trailer. We invite you to meet our team and speak to our engineers to check first hand on the progress of your trailer.

STEP 6

Delivery

Once your trailer is complete, we run all necessary safety checks and take care of the paper work, getting your trailer number plates and registration organised for you. We can deliver your trailer to you or invite you to pick it up from our factory.

STEP 7

Service & Maintenance

We schedule your trailer for a regular service to maintain safety standards and ensure your trailer is operating at peak performance.

Our simplified process is designed to get an in depth understanding of your requirements early on, so that production runs smoothly, easily and efficiently.

INSPECT YOUR
CUSTOM TRAILER

We invite you to inspect your trailer at our warehouse facility during the manufacturing process to check the progress. We will organise a time for you to visit our workshop facility and speak to our engineers.

Our trailers are custom built and manufactured in Australia in our Dandenong South warehouse facility. We also source all of our parts, accessories and components from quality Australian suppliers. Trailers Only is proudly Australian owned and operated.

We provide ongoing support with scheduled maintenance, modifications, servicing or mechanical repairs to ensure your trailer continues to perform at its best. We also take care of the registration, gas, electricity or plumbing for your trailer.
